Traveling is a huge passion of mine but I can’t always be everywhere at once. I visited Seattle last year and about 6 years ago before that and thought it was a great city to explore. Now if I ever when back this is what i would consider doing. Enjoy!
Pikes Place
a trip to Seattle is not complete without visiting Pikes Place market and seeing the fish fly from the counter. This is a great market to walk around and see what the locals are selling from food to art and this is the spot of the OG Starbucks. Don’t forget to check out the gross but interesting Gum wall just a couple steps away
Space needle
Check out the iconic space needle and the stunning views of the city from the observation deck. while many cities offer these type of view points the Seattle space needle is famous for being one of the most photographed and recognized structures in the world. just steps away you have to see the Chihuly Garden and glass which holds several pieces of Dale Chihuly glass sculptures (even featured on the bachelor franchise)
Chinatown
a trip is the sleepless city isn’t complete without going to Chinatown and taking in the rich history and culture of the area. In addition, time out once listed Seattle’s Chinatown district as number 3 in the ” 10 best Chinatowns in the USA. Stop in at the Wing Luke Museum to learn more about the history of Asian Americans in the Pacific Northwest
Museum of Flight
We all know Seattle is a huge hub for a variety of airlines and of course Boeing is based here which makes the Museum of Flight the perfect place to stop in and learn more about the history of all this great aviation that surrounds the city
Olympic Sculpture Park
Located along the water you can take in the beautiful views of Seattle, the Olympic mountains and these impressive large sculptures.
Museum of Pop Culture
After exploring the city, taking in the arts sometimes a different type of museum can be great and this one is just the one to mix up your day. With exhibits on Jimi Hendrix, Nirvana and Stek Trek this museum has a little bit of everything.
Go Whale Watching
The Pacific Northwest is known for its pods of Orcas, humpback whales and grey whales. It can be a great spot to hop on a whale watching tour. it is best to check out when is the best season for this activity as due to the migration seeing different whale species may vary. This is an incredible experience as nothing is quite like this.
 Sample Local Ales
While brewery culture can be found in Colorado and other states the Seattle area is another one that hold beer close to its heart. If you looking to get some drinks while your in town you can check out tons of microbreweries in the area or some real classics like Elysian Brewing company or Fremont Brewing
Seattle Asian Art Museum
The collection here ranges from east Asia, to the Himalayas its a great museums to appreciate the rich traditions and culture of these areas
Troll at Lincoln Park
Created in 1990 this fun sculpture and piece of work is super fun to take photos of. There is actually several trolls you can find all over the US . I personally love them!
